We had the rib eye steak & baked potato. It was 375 pesos and very good. The service was very good. Both of the owners, Jim & Elke, came out and talked to selected tables of their "friends" but they wer e not very friendly to us. They blew us off. I think they need to know that being rude to customers isn't a good way to be.

Nice ambience and good service. I would have scored it higher except half of the people at our table didn't get what they ordered as they ran out of certain beef cuts. Kind of strange for a place that only serves dinner between 5 and 8 p.m.

Wonderful hosts and waitstaff. Steaks done like in the States. Even the baked potatoes are great considering Russet potatoes are pretty nonexistent. I love going there.

This place is closed, and not just for the day. Everything inside is torn apart. Piles of dirt all over (big piles, like a meter+ high). If it reopens, it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. Too bad the owners haven't updated hours to let anyone if/when they will be open.

Excellent environment

Sunday afternoon darts on four boards. The best way to spend time with old friends and new friends. This was definitely an English speaking group. The owners speak English, menu in English what else could you ask for on a Sunday. The food was very good, I had ribs and fries my wife had hamburger with fries. Our friends had takeout chicken salad after the dart game. There are dance nights and a live band during the week. It is best to call for open hours. The room is very large with lots of seats. The cerveza started at 20$p per bottle, not bad at all. Our friends had been praising the bar for a few years and we finally made it out with them for the afternoon. The washrooms are clean and complete. We will return for sure. Enjoy.

Best time we've had in the two months we've been here! Fish & Chips were great and cost the equivalent of $8 CAD (125 pesos) The blues band and their invitations to jam with them were awesome. We will try to be back each Wednesday until we leave.

November to March. Good food with specials. House band 60's & 70's to please the snowbirds. Lively crowd. Recommend reservation.

Nowhere does it say "cash only" and we do not take a pleasant surprise when asking for the account and find out that they do not accept cards ?

Good ol' reliable Faces! Where the Canucks and the Yanks go to eat and listen to old rock and roll played by an excellent band. You'll need reservations.

The service was excellent. The food was not. Lacked flavour and was overcooked. Mozzarella sticks were from Costco...and chicken strips were chewy and overcooked. Heard good things about this restaurant so perhaps it was just an off day.

We came around 8pm to find out they were about to close. We were allowed to order from whatever food they had left. Surprisingly, or not, the fish in the fish and chips was awesome. The rack of ribs was small but tasty. The French fries were so so and the salad that came with the ribs was inspiring The fish and chips did not come with the small salad To my surprise when I told the owner he could fix the hours on the Google map he either did not understand what for or did not care.

OMGosh!! We just love this place. Jim and Elke are the best! She runs the kitchen and is a marvelous chef. He runs the dining room and bar and knows his customers!! Faces is the place we go to shake it up aka dancing! Jam night on Wed.and band night on Sat...... which we hope we will be allowed back in as Sam was sick and we forgot to call. It is well worth groveling though and we will!!!!
